ABOUT US
Soh Hair Academy was founded in the late '70s and gained its foothold at the suburban malls in the Upper Bukit Timah area. For the past 20 years, the school was situated near the principle branch. We have trained and educated countless students who have benefited immensely from our teachings.

Soh Hair Academy then went on to achieve approval from the Institute of Technical Training Provider (ITE) to be an Approved Training Center (ATP), offering National ITE Certification (Nitec) in Hairstyling courses to nurture the next generation of Hair Stylists. In 2006, the Academy has achieved CASETRUST accreditation for the protection and guarantee of education for students.

At Soh Hair Academy, we are fully committed to providing prompt student services to our valued students. We have implemented a Quality Policy and Quality Assurance, to ensure excellent services.

OUR FACILITIES
Soh Hair Academy is strategically located in Bugis Village, a bustling part of the city. It has a total floor area of 1,150 square feet.

Our training area is smartly designed to transform into a lecture area with its movable furniture. The Academy has a seating capacity of 25pax which can be easily transformed into a practical area for training and demonstration.

We have a fully equipped training school, including the use of projection aids to aid students in learning. The latest technology and equipments are employed to aid students in their learning and enable them to adapt quickly to the changes in technology in this fast-changing world.

OUR ACADEMIC EXPERTISE AND CURRICULUM ADVANTAGE
Soh Hair Academy's trainers have each accumulated more than 15 years of experience in the arena of Hair Styling and teaching. They are Approved Trainers accredited by ITE. Our Trainers are constantly receiving updates at International Hair Events overseas. They also hold the positions of Creative Director, Artistic Director, Senior Stylist, and Branch Manager at our Salons. To date, we have 2 full time trainers, 2 part time trainers, and 2 administrative staff members. Our Student to Teacher ratio is currently 10:1.

Being located in the City at Bugis Village where there is a ready pool of live models, is an advantage for our students as they will be able to put their learning skills to good use.

OUR SERVICES
Soh Hair Academy will be able to assist prospective students in applying/renewing their Student Pass in accordance with the Immigration Checkpoints Authority (ICA) rules and regulation. Upon graduation, we also offer employment should there be vacancies at our salons.

At the point of registration, we will breakdown a list of tuition and non-tuition fees for the students. Students who are unsure of the fees incurred are always welcome to contact any of our staff members. Any concerns raised will be addressed to as promptly as possible. It is our policy to address your concerns within 5 working days and resolve any issue within 10 working days.
